Kirk Goehring
Chief Executive Officer
Kirk Goehring is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Benchmark Energy II. Prior to Benchmark, Kirk was Chief Operating Officer at Jones Energy. At Jones Energy, he spent seven years in a variety of management roles across operations, finance and strategy. Kirk joined Jones Energy from Metalmark Capital, a New York based private equity firm, where he focused on natural resources and industrial investments.
Kirk began his career as an investment banking analyst at Greenhill and Bear Stearns. Kirk graduated from the Business Honors Program at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas with a degree in finance.
